The Nanaimo Power & Sail Squadron is one of over 150 Squadrons across Canada. We are a non-profit association of boating enthusiasts with a passion for both power & sail. Our Squadron offers courses ranging from the Introductory Boating Basics (Pleasure Craft Operators Certificate) and Radio Operator’s Certificate – Marine (ROC-M) through to Celestial Navigation for the offshore and history buffs.
We also offer a host of interest driven courses, such as Fundamentals of Weather, Boat &v Engine Maintenance, Electronic Navigation, etc.
Short monthly meetings are held at the Nanaimo Yacht Club at 7 pm on the second Tuesday of each month (except July & August) with a special guest speaker at each meeting.
