Welcome to Vancouver Island South District — we are made up of four individual Canadian Power & Sail squadrons in the Southern Vancouver Island region. Each squadron has it’s own unique make-up, but common to all squadrons is boating education. Classes offered range from basic boating certification (Pleasure Craft Operator Cards, PCOC) through to advanced navigation courses. We also offer courses in maritime radio (VHF Radio Operators Certificate), weather and boat maintenance.
Boating classes are offered in two semesters: Sept – Dec and Jan – April.
